2023-2024 Jasper ISD Extracurricular Event Regulations

Jasper ISD has the responsibility and authority to regulate behavior for school-sponsored extracurricular activities. Those individuals in violation of these regulations may be denied participation in those activities.

Regulations:

• No student in 8th grade or under can attend Jasper ISD events without an adult present.  These students must sit in the stands with the adult, and that adult is responsible for their student’s behavior during the event.

• Students 8th grade or under cannot attend with a high school student as their responsible adult.

• At no time should any student be loitering or horse playing at the event.

• Anyone seen not following the Student Code of Conduct will be escorted from the event by school personnel and may be banned from attending future events for the remainder of the school year.

• Any student currently suspended, expelled or placed in District Alternative Education Placement is not permitted to attend school events.

• Jasper ISD has a zero-tolerance for fighting. All offenders will be escorted from the event by a school official, subject to arrest by the Jasper Police Department, and will have the same disciplinary action as if fighting at school.

All individuals who refuse to comply with the school officials’ directions will be immediately escorted from the event, will not be allowed to reenter, and may be banned from attending future events for the remainder of the school year. All JISD policies and rules apply.
